| 80PLUS certification was started from the beginning of 2004, and in 2005 after the 1st model certified, all the top ranking manufacturers in the industry had been trying their best to meet this standard. 80PLUS has become one of the important indexes of a PSU nowadays. When Energy Star established its standard, version 4.0, 80PLUS certification standard was also included.
